WELCOME TO HALF WAY RANCH...
Empowering the lives of many by helping a few
|
 |
Half Way Ranch is a non-profit organization bridging dependency with independency in Amador County since 2000. Our vision is to create safe environments and educational programs that will provide the necessary support and tools to teens and young adults while they transition from dependency to independency.
Our goals are...
- To help each resident develop life strategies that focus on enhancing their abilities and skills;
- To build positive peer relationships, better self-esteem, and develop short and long-term career goals;
- To have each resident who graduates from our program enter their new life-chapter with the life skills, training and education that will allow them to obtain employment at a higher than minimum wage income.
With these we have arrived at our new HWR True Transitions program.

Transitional Housing
True Transition's new program provides young adults with the opportunity to gain confidence and skills through a mentor relationship with other young adults and experienced social workers.
Based on college dorm models, this program bridges dependency with independency. Our program is a supervised program with staff on site to assist with the day to day challenges of being an adult. |
