Half Way Ranch is a non-profit organization that has been serving the needs of foster youth in Amador County since 2000. Our vision is to create safe environments and educational programs that will provide the necessary support and tools to teens/young adults while they transition from dependency to independency.
To help each resident develop life strategies that focus on enhancing their abilities and skills. To build positive peer relationships, better self-esteem, and develop short and long-term career goals. To have each resident who graduates from our program do so with the life skills, training and education that will allow them to obtain employment at a higher than minimum wage income. With that we have arrived at our new program HWR True Transitions. |
